The Face Shelf is inspired by Bauhaus and its abstract approach to furniture design. I crafted this piece to feature a hidden face, requiring the viewer to search for it within the design. The most defining detail is the beauty spot positioned just above the lips, which appear to float, suspended by fishing wire. Made entirely by hand from simple yet beautiful plywood, the shelf emphasizes subtlety and craftsmanship.
