I redesigned Lina Bo Bardi’s iconic Giraffe Chair, inspired by its name, 'Giraffa,' which means 'giraffe.' My goal was to bring a playful twist to this beautiful yet simple design, making it something that sparks a smile. I elongated the backrest to mimic a giraffe’s long neck, adding a whimsical element to the chair’s structure. While the rest of the design remains true to the original, I added dowels made from red linoleum, creating an eye-catching contrast against the oak wood."
